When it’s boiling hot outside and I grave something fresh, but still filling, then this recipe is perfect for that.
You can also add some extra capers and olives – it’s up to you.
Hope this recipe was inspiring and if you think that salad is not a meal, it’s a style…
Cauliflower (boiled and roasted)
Fresh goat cheese
Good quality olive oil
Soak and boil lentils with some sea salt.
Chop up in small pieces already pre boiled beetroot.
Using your hands crumble some fresh goat cheese.
Cut the head of cauliflower in small pieces ( boil them until they are semi soft and then put them on the baking sheet with olive oil and sprinkle some curry powder over them as well as salt and pepper. Bake them with 200 C about 20 – 30 minutes.
When you’re serving this dish, add chopped fresh herbs and nuts for the extra crunch. I just added some left-over salted pecans.
Layer all the ingredients on the plate.
The warmth of the cauliflower should melt the goat cheese a little bit.
Enjoy the last days of summer.
I’m glad it’s finally hot enough to complain how hot it is. Forget dinner and a movie. Summer is definitely meant for long walks in the nature and having a picnic in the park.
Enjoying evening at the terrace with cold drinks and great food. And preferably with a sidekick.
Style wise jump / playsuits are my favourite.
Summer is perfect time for rocking them. Easy, quick and with just a change of shoes you can transform day time outfit to an evening appropriate.
Eating fresh seasonal fruits and berries. Eat good, feel good.
Good bye wintry pale skin. Little bit of glow just makes everything look better.
Bronzed legs and being to able wear less make up is sometimes heaven.
Going on a holiday. Collecting memories and living the life fullest. Put me on a plane and fly me to anywhere…
I love relaxing on the balcony. I never get tired of watching blue sky. Reading, dreaming about life.
Happiness is also having able to have ME time.
What do you love about summer?
Time goes by so fast. It has been almost ( I would like to say a year, but little bit less) ten months since I got my piggies.
They were so tiny when they first arrived and now they look much more chubby bears.
Pippa is very curious guinea pig, she can hear far from distance when I’m washing and cutting some veggies for them.
Of course Poppy joins the squeaking team.
And when they get the daily hay, Pippa likes to do the happy jump and run like a crazy one.
Poppy can also do the funny ” popcorn” move( It’s a funny movement what guinea pigs do).
And they can do the ” purring” sound… Who said that guinea pigs are boring?
They are very sociable, chatty and entertaining…
And that’s how we roll here in the small city of Netherlands. Me and my small guinea pig farm.
Here are some recent photographs of my guinea pig girls. Later they got paid with some carrot currency.
Picking out products to take with my when I travel is usually quite an easy peasy task. I’m hoping to take these items into my hand luggage, so I don’t have to worry that they would be lost or delayed with the normal baggage.
Of course when I travel with plane, soon as I arrive to the hotel
I like to wash my face with a purity face wash by dr. van der Hoog.
I find this product very mild and creamy and it’s 100 ml, so that makes it perfect for the liquids rule what airports have.
Another great discovery from a same brand is this Goodnight wrinkles night mask,
it almost has no colour, so you could use it already on the flight.
In the morning it leaves my skin soft and plumpious for the rest of the day.
Chapped lips  is something what many people suffer, when travelling.
This Estonian brand JOIK lip balm has been everywhere with me,
because it’s one of the best lip balms I ever used. It has a divine orange scent and it’s 100 % natural product.
Continuing with the orange theme, I also like to bring some kind of a body cream with me.
Rituals has this amazing Touch of Happiness rich, nourishing body cream. It has a small cute packing and when you finish it, you don’t have to bother yourself bringing it back home.
Sudocream is a really cult product, but it’s just so multifunctional, that can’t be left behind.
After many days under the sun, a gel with aloe vera is soothing and acts as a perfect base under make up.
Last item is a Burberry perfume.
I tend to bring my current favourite with me, even though it has the most travel – unfriendly  packaging.
These were the seven products I relay on when I’m on the go.
Summer in the Netherlands has been boiling hot recent past weeks,
so I try to enjoy it much as I can…
End of next month I may need these products again… let’s see if I take these choices with me.
Let’s have a great summer.
If a real princess was lost in a modern world, she could be whatever she wanted.
I really like the bohemian princess look. I’m an enthusiast of combining vintage and modern.
Who would you like to be?

I have high hopes for this product. Amazing innovative design and created by the talented Lisa Eldridge.
When in doubt – Wing it out!
We all need little bit of  magic in our life. I imagine using this cream as a base, little bit of concealer, few strokes of soft blush and off I go.
3. Clinique CC cream :
Wish there were more sunny days here in the Netherlands, but sun is obviously not good for the skin. Especially for the face, so that’s why I’m really into using CC creams with high level of SPF. Always liked how Clinique foundations sit and feel on the skin.
I’m quite fuzzy about mascaras, so it has to be one of a kind.
My goal is long, curled, not spidery lashes look and it has to be easily removed. This Clinique number seems to be the one.
Recently I saw this brand at the local store, so I might wanna try it out. I know I’m quite late for this wagon, because these brushes have been on the market for a very long time. But it’s never too late…
It would be perfect for the pinpoint concealing (covering small marks and spots with a very tiny brush) and also covering the under eye area. I do not have massive dark circles, but some extra brightness is always welcome. And the cup of coffee will do the rest…
My old eyelash curler is pretty busted, so it’s time for the new one. Still using my old one ( probably shouldn’t!), but I have my eyes already on this particular model.
Happy Friday! And have a great weekend!
